Nail Polish Trends for Spring

Winter is waving its last goodbye, which means that it is time to spruce up your wardrobe and beauty regime for fresh, sunny Spring!

When Spring rolls around, everything gets brighter, bolder and better – and the same can be said for your manicure.

Spring calls for colourful, playful nails that will only serve as a compliment to your lighter and brighter wardrobe.

Here are some of our favourite nail polish trends for the new season:

1. Orange is the new black

While we will always drool over a sexy pair of black nails, orange is super on trend for thsi season.

Think a muted colour of orange, however. Neon orange will not work as well – unless you are a 12-year old tween.

You can go as light or as dark as you want in the summery, orange tone – the choice is completely up to you!

2. Pastel pink

Last season saw a big revival of the so-called ‘Barbie pink’ hue. This season, BArbie takes a backseat and makes way for her more demure cousin.

Think soft, baby pinks verging on nude pastels. Not only will it give your manicure a lovely ladylike feel, this colour works on all skin colours!

3. Nude is never out of season

If there is one true rule when it comes to manicures, it’s that nude never goes out of style.

Whether you simply gloss your nails with a top-coat, or choose a nude nail polish that is slightly darker than your natural tone, nothing looks as chic or as classy than a perfectly applied nude manicure!
