Mythbuster Grant Imahara Dies at 49
Late television presenter, Grant Imahara, has passed away at the age of 49.
The former “Mythbusters” host suffered a fatal brain aneurysm on Monday, 13 July, in Los Angeles, California.
Imahara’s “Mythbusters” co-hosts – Adam Savage, Kari Byron and Tory Belleci – all shared their grief on Twitter.
Savage said: “[Imahara] was a truly brilliant engineer, artist and performer, but also just such a generous, easygoing, and gentle PERSON [sic]. Working with Grant was so much fun. I’ll miss my friend.”
Byron was stunned: “Heartbroken and in shock tonight. We were just talking on the phone. This isn’t real.”
Meanwhile, Belleci shared a photo of himself and Imahara, with the caption reading: “I just cannot believe it. I don’t even know what to say. My heart is broken. Goodbye, buddy.”
Imahara left the science entertainment television program in 2016, and went on to star in the Netflix series, “White Rabbit Project”, that same year.
Imahara is survived by his long-time girlfriend, Jennifer Newman.
