Mutizwa: I’m Enjoying LIfe at Arrows
Zimbabwean international, Knox Mutizwa, has said that he is thoroughly enjoying his time at South African Premier League club, Golden Arrows.
Mutizwa, who is a former Zimbabwe Highlanders player, is not stranger to the South African PSL.
He used to play for rival PSL team, Bidvest Wits, before he was loaned to the Arrows at the start of the season.
He recently told South African soccer magazine, KickOff, that he is much happier at Arrows – especially now that he gets the chance to play.
“I’m enjoying myself here and we are trying to keep up the pressure…When you switched the club where you were not playing and you fight and you are now part of the key players, it’s fantastic and it’s nice [sic],” he said.
He continued, saying that Arrows coach, Clinton Larsen, has given him a confidence boost.
“The coach is also giving me the vote of confidence to say, ‘go there and I know you can do it, I know you can score’ and that is what I’m doing,” he said.
He also told the magazine that he is not yet sure what Wits’ decision will be regarding his services.
“But any other things it’ll be up to Wits whether I’ll stay permanently here or I’ll go, I don’t have much of a say in this issue [sic],” he said.
The Golden Arrows next face African and PSL Champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, in the Nedbank Cup on Saturday in Pretoria.
