John Wick
Keanu Reeves makes a triumphant return in this action-packed revenge tale involving a retired hitman who comes back into the game in order to exact his vengeance on gangsters. The film was released in the US months ago and reviews have been solid with critic website Rotten Tomatoes dubbing the film "a satisfying return to action for Keanu Reeves".

Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb
Ben Stiller returns in this third instalment of the Night at the Museum film series where all the exhibits of the natural history museum come to life due to the magic in a mysterious Egyptian artefact. This time however, the magic in the artefact is dying out and Stiller’s protagonist has to save it. If you’re looking for a good laugh with historic characters involved, then this is the film for you.

Jessabelle
Those looking for a horror this holiday season should check out Jessabelle as it’s a supernatural horror involving the title character returning to her childhood where a spirit awaits her and refuses to let her go.

Looking for a romance to soften your heart? Why not try The Best of Me, based on a Nicholas Sparks novel… so all romantic film lovers should know what to expect. The film follows two ex-lovers who after 20 years cross paths and – of course – their passion for one another is reignited once again.

Big Hero 6
Disney and Marvel finally collaborate on an animation film involving a superhero team and a robot that have to stop a villain from destroying their city of San Fransokyo. The plot may sound generic and predictable, but there’s so much more to this than meets the eye. And if we tell you, then we’re going to spoil it, so do yourself a favour and go check it out for yourself. We thought the film was good and Rotten Tomatoes has the film sitting on 89%, calling the film "agreeably entertaining and brilliantly animated".

Exodus: Gods and Kings
This biblical film directed by Ridley Scott (Gladiator) tells the story of Moses as he stands up to the pharaoh in order to free the slaves. If the film’s trailers are any indication, expect epic action sequences and an extravaganza of visual effects.
