Mourinho Storms Out of Press Conference

August 28, 2018

José Mourinho demanded “respect” from the media before storming out of his post-match press conference, after Manchester United lost 3-0 to Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night.

The defeat was Mourinho’s heaviest at home in his tenure with United, and he has now lost two of his three opening EPL matches for the first time.

These results have left the Red Devils ranking a lowly 13th on the Premier League standings.

Mourinho immediately went on the offensive when journalists brought up the dismal match score, as well as the criticism directed at him by disgruntled fans.

Holding up three fingers, the former Chelsea boss said: “Do you know what the result was? Three-nil. Do you know what this means? Three-nil, but it also means three Premierships, and I won more Premierships alone than the other 19 managers together. Three for me and two for them.”

Mourinho then left his seat, repeating the word “Respect”, before walking out of the press conference.

There has been no official word from the club regarding the incident yet.
