Mourinho Receives Celtic Top Job Offer

May 06, 2019

Former Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has reportedly received an offer to manage Scottish team, Celtic Football Club.

As per reports, the club has reached out to the ‘Special One’ to return to a managerial role, and guide the Scottish giants to glory next season. The potential move has Hoops fans wildly excited.

One fan tweeted: “You all laughed when I said Mourinho for Celtic. It’s confirmed he’s been offered it.”

Celtic have done well for themselves this season, winning the Scottish Premiership, and can also lift the silverware as champions for the eighth time if they beat Heart of Midlothian in the Scottish Cup final on 25 May.

Current Celts caretaker boss, Neil Lennon, has yet to be offered a permanent contract, and the club is said to be exploring their options.

The Portuguese 56-year-old lost his United job in December last year when the club suffered consecutive defeats, and lost 3-1 to EPL leaders and bitter rivals, Liverpool, leaving the Red Devils to languish 19 points behind.
