Mourinho To Join Manchester United?
Rumours have been doing the rounds for months about former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho joining English Premier League club Manchester United, but nothing has been set in stone.
And now it has come to light that not even Mourinho himself knows if he will make the move to Old Trafford or not.
Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea and his not been linked to other clubs (or had another job) since. However, many believe it is only a matter of time before he replaces Louis Van Gaal at Manchester United.
Mourinho recently coached a FIFA Legends team that lost 9-8 to a Mexican All-Star team in Mexico City, he told reporters afterwards that he is still in the dark about where his next job will be:
“…I don’t have a club and I was waiting for these guys [the FIFA Legends] to win the match to give me a hand but because I lost the match [9-8] it’s even more difficult to get the club,” he said jokingly.
He continued saying that he misses coaching but that he is confident he will be back at it in July:
“…In July I will be back. So we are in May. May to July is nothing. I keep enjoying my life which I’m doing, keep enjoying my family. But in July I am back.”
Exactly where he would be ‘back’ remains to be seen, although all signs are pointing to Mourinho making the move to Old Trafford to be the new head honcho of the Red Devils.
