Mourinho Confirms Schneiderlin’s Everton Plans

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has confirmed to the media that midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is most likely on his way to Premier League club, Everton.

“…No details, but before the match I was informed by Mr Woodward that the situation is too close [sic]…So Morgan is more than probably going to Everton,” Mourinho told Sky Sports recently.

Before the seeming confirmation by Mourinho himself, reports were suggesting that Manchester United had already agreed to sell Schneiderlin to Everton.

They reported that Schneiderlin’s fee was around the £22 million mark, but that no exact amount had been confirmed.

It is still not sure what the details regarding Schneiderlin’s transfer are.

Schneiderlin joined Manchester United in 2015 from Southampton, but failed to be a regular feature in the United line-up.

Schneiderlin also seemed to not be a favourite of Mourinho, as he only made eight appearances in total for United when Mourinho took over the reigns as manager.

Neither Manchester United or Everton have made an official announcement regarding the probable transfer of Schneiderlin.
