‘Mission: Impossible 5’ releasing sooner

January 28, 2015

Mission: Impossible fans can rejoice as they’ll now have the opportunity to see the fifth instalment five months earlier.

Yes, Paramount has moved the film from its Christmas release slot to the Blockbuster movie season in July.

Mission: Impossible 5 is now slated to open on July, 31, 2015 which is a wise choice considering that Star Wars Episode VII is scheduled to open a week earlier on December 18, 2015 which might’ve given Mission a run for its money.

Another reason for the film’s release date shift might have to do with Paramount delaying their animated feature Monster Trucks which was scheduled to open on May 29, 2015 but has now occupied Mission: Impossible’s old date.

Mission: Impossible 5 stars Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Alec Baldwin, Rebecca Ferguson, Sean Harris, and Simon McBurney. Jack Reacher’s Christopher McQuarrie directs.
