Miley Cyrus’ “Egg-celent” Response to Pregnancy Rumours
Miley Cyrus humorously shot down rumours that she is expecting her first child with her husband, actor Liam Hemsworth.
The “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker – who married “The Hunger Games” star in December last year – was reported to be pregnant with a baby girl, whom the couple would raise in Byron Bay, Australia.
A picture of Cyrus sporting what looked like a baby bump was also doing the rounds on social media, supporting the pregnancy rumours.
However, taking to Twitter on Wednesday, 16 January, the singer set the record straight. She posted the same picture, but with an egg superimposed on her belly in reference to the most liked photo on Instagram.
In the caption, Cyrus wrote: “I’m not “Egg-xpecting”, but it’s “Egg-celent” to hear everyone is so “Happy For Us” …. we’re happy for us too! “Egg-cited” for this next chapter in our lives…. Now, can everyone leave me alone and go back to staring at an egg [sic].”
