Mel C Orders Spice Girls to Take Singing Lessons

Mel C, better known as Sporty Spice, has reportedly told her fellow Spice Girls that she will not join them on their reunion tour unless the group takes singing lessons.

The 44-year-old singer is meant to be joining Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner (previously Halliwell) on a comeback tour that is set for 2019.

Only Victoria Beckham, also known as Posh Spice, has refused to go on tour after she and the others reportedly had a blowout.

According to an English media outlet, Mel C – whose real name is Melanie Chisholm – has apparently taken charge of some aspects of the operation, which includes overseeing the band’s musical arrangements.

She also apparently told her bandmates that she would not be part of the tour if they did not undergo vocal lessons, given that that it has been years since they last performed together.

Each Spice Girl is set to earn £13 million pounds for the tour, and for Mel C, it’s “crucial they take the performance side of the money-spinning return very seriously”.
