Megan Thee Stallion Beefs with Her Makeup Artist

Things got heated really quickly between Megan Thee Stallion and her makeup artist, Akil McCoy, after he commented on a recent Instagram post of hers.

The 24-year-old rapper – real name Megan Pete – was recently interviewed by Vogue, as part of their day-in-the-life of a celebrity series. After the video was uploaded, she posted a short clip from it to her page on the social media platform.

In the clip, she talks about how she got into makeup during her teenage years. This lead to McCoy – also known as “Akilaface” on Instagram – speaking up on the post.

He immediately hopped into the comments and gave himself credit by simply saying: “Makeup By [sic] Akilaface.”

Pete immediately responded with “and me”, which lead to a lengthy back and forth between the two. He claims she often fails to credit him.

McCoy posting to his Instagram Stories: “All artists should be payed [sic] and tagged. Especially when you’re talented. End of discussion.”
