Meek Mill Slams Social Media Trolls
US rapper, Meek Mill, has some strong words for online trolls after he received backlash for commenting on a Nicki Minaj-related Instagram post.
After Minaj announced her pregnancy on Monday, 20 July, a social media user called @JustinLaboy tweeted: “Y’all got 1 [sic] time to share Nicki pregnancy picture [sic] on your story or timeline and you getting [sic] blocked. She don’t know you & [sic] she didn’t post you when you were pregnant. #Respectfully. [sic]”
The same user shared a screengrab of his tweet on Instagram, where Mill – who dated Minaj from 2015 to 2017 – commented underneath the post with a series of blank face and laughing emojis.
After receiving fan backlash for allegedly being obsessed with his ex-girlfriend and trying to spoil her happiness, the “Ima Boss” hitmaker put his foot down on Monday evening.
He tweeted: “You got people following you and every move you make … judging and complaining about every move you make on their socials … what is that? Get inside your own body a lil [sic] more and chill.”
Minaj has yet to comment on Mill’s reactions.
