McAvoy going bald for new ‘X-Men’
Charles Xavier – aka Professor X – played in the X-Men prequel trilogy by James McAvoy, will go bald in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse.
The film’s director Bryan Singer has confirmed this with an Instagram post from the film’s set with the image showcasing McAvoy, now almost bald, getting a haircut.

Actor Patrick Stewart played the older (bald) version of the character in the original X-Men trilogy, reprising his role for small parts in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and in last year’s X-Men: Days of Future Past.
X-Men: Apocalypse hits screens in May 2016.
