Mbappe Hat-trick Leads Real Madrid to 5-0 Win Over Kairat

Kylian Mbappe delivered a masterclass performance as Real Madrid crushed Kairat Almaty 5-0 in their UEFA Champions League encounter on Tuesday, 30 September.

The 26-year-old French forward struck three times at Ortalyq Stadium in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan, guiding his side to a much-needed win following their 5-2 thrashing from Atletico Madrid last weekend.

Madrid received an early boost just 25 minutes into the match when Franco Mastantuono was bundled over by teenage goalkeeper Sherkhan Kalmurza, allowing Mbappe to score confidently from the spot.

Seven minutes after the interval, he doubled the lead, racing on to Thibaut Courtois’ long pass before delicately lifting the ball over the home side keeper. Mbappe’s third goal came at the 73rd-minute mark, a thunderous effort into the top corner after a dazzling run from substitute Rodrygo.

Rodrygo’s energy also created Madrid’s fourth in the 83rd minute, heading across for Eduardo Camavinga to nod in, before Brahim Diaz capped the night with a simple finish a few minutes in stoppage time.

The result boosts Madrid’s momentum in Europe, while Kairat remain without a point in their debut campaign.
