Mass Murderer Charles Manson Hospitalised

November 16, 2017

Charles Manson, one of the most notorious murderers of the last century, has been hospitalised.

The 83-year-old cult leader was reportedly rushed to a hospital in Bakersfield, California, three days ago and has undergone a series of treatments.

Vicky Waters, a spokeswoman for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, has refused to give any details regarding Manson’s condition.

She said that federal and state medical privacy laws prevent her from revealing anything about the mass murderer. Waters did confirm, however, that he is alive.

In January, Manson was hospitalised for intestinal bleeding, but was too weak to have surgery, and was sent back to jail.

Charles Manson rose to notoriety when he instructed his cult, known as the Manson Family, to commit a series of gruesome murders in August of 1969.

He sent his followers to the house of a record-producer who had snubbed him. The record producer no longer lived there, but the Manson Family killed all five people inside, including actress Sharon Tate who was eight months pregnant.

The next day, Manson joined them to kill supermarket executive Leno LaBianca and his wife in their home.

Manson was originally sentenced to death, but his sentence was commuted after the death penalty was abolished in California.

He has been behind bars for more than four decades, and continues to show no remorse.
