Malajila For Golden Boot

Zimbabwean international striker, Cuthbert Malajila is looking like a strong contender for the South African Premier League’s Golden Boot Award.

The former Maritzburg United man scored twice in a 4-2 Premiership win over Bidvest Wits on Saturday and he believes he can win this term’s golden boot after netting 10 league goals last season.

“I want to score more…[sic] I want not just to do it for myself but for the team as well. Even if I don’t score and the team wins then I am happy. But as a striker I have to score goals because that’s my job.” he was quoted as saying.
