Makhaya Ntini To Coach Zim Cricket Team
Former South African cricketer, and undoubtedly one of the best African cricketers of our time, Makhaya Ntini, has announced that he has signed a two-year deal with Cricket Zimbabwe as their assistant coach to the national cricket team.
The former South African bowler will start his new job on the 16th of February.
The 38-year old Ntini has had a long and wonderful career in cricket. Perhaps one of his greatest highlights being the first black African cricketer to play on an international level.
He also broke some records, including one very illustrious moment in 2003 when became the very first South African cricket player to take 10 wickets in a Test match at the hallowed Lord’s ground in England.
Ntini retired from playing for the Proteas back in 2010.
