‘Ma Agnes’ leaves Isidingo
Popular SA soapie Isidingo: The Need has lost one of its major characters and stars as Keketso Semoko who plays ‘Ma Agnes Matabane’ has left the show according to the Sowetan LIVE.
Ma Agnes’ last time on the show was on last night’s episode as she and her husband Zeb are moving to a farm in order to retire.
The Sowetan LIVE reported that Semoko has been with Isidingo since 1998 which is almost 16 years and the reason for her departure is that she wants to take a break from acting in order to travel a little bit.
Semoko told Sowatan LIVE that she shot her last scenes back in May and that playing the role of Ma Agnes has allowed her to represent all the hardships and success women face.
She had her last appearance as the popular character on the show last night (August 13).
