Lukaku To Stay at Everton?

Everton’s star striker, Romelu Lukaku, has dropped hints that he might be staying with the Premier League club, despite rumours suggesting that he has been made numerous offers to join other clubs.

Reports suggested that the Belgian international was in the process of signing a new deal with a new club, after he snubbed Everton’s new offer of an extension on his contract last month.

Lukaku is hot property at the moment.

He is currently the top goal scorer in the English Premier league this season, having already scored 21 goals for Everton.

His skills on the pitch have, naturally, caught the attention of many and he has been linked with moves to other Premier League clubs such as Manchester United and Chelsea.

However, after speaking to reporters after Everton’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United last night, Lukaku seems to have suggested that he still sees a future at the club.

“I want to create history at the club…I want to push for a top four spot and I think we must aim for this…Personally, I just want to improve and become a better player than I am today,” he said

Whether or not Lukaku will leave Everton to find greener pastures somewhere else remains to be seen.
