Lori Harvey Arrested in Hit-and-Run Accident
Lori Harvey has been arrested after a suspected hit-and-run car crash on Sunday, 20 October in Beverly Hills, California.
According to reports, the 22-year-old model – who is the step-daughter of comedian Steve Harvey – was allegedly texting while driving her Mercedes SUV on Moreno Drive, when her vehicle hit a parked car.
The collision caused Harvey’s SUV to flip onto its side. Unharmed, she was pulled out of the SUV by the driver of the other vehicle, but then allegedly attempted to flee the scene.
The Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed in a statement that the model was arrested a short distance away from the scene of the accident.
They said: “[Harvey] was arrested for the two charges and released on scene. Not booked. She identified herself properly and signed a written promise to appear in court [on 21 January 2020].”
The crash comes days after Harvey reportedly split from 49-year-old music mogul, Diddy, whom sources claim was not ready to be in a long-term committed relationship with her.
