Lindsay Lohan Resurfaces
Guess who’s back on the red carpet?
Child actress turned international superstar, Lindsay Lohan, made her first red carpet appearance in years at the recent amfAR gala in Cannes, France, where she briefly spoke to an E! News correspondent on the red carpet and gave an update on her life.
Lindsay looked visibly shy and somewhat uncomfortable as she spoke to E! News’ Jason Kennedy, who broke the ice by asking about her dress.
“This is very overwhelming here…I haven’t really been around anything having to do with Hollywood in a long time,” she said.
Lindsay moved to London about two years ago where she has done some theatre work and small films. She told Kennedy that she was about to start filming a British comedy film called ‘Sick Note’ which also stars ‘Harry Potter’ star, Rupert Grint.
Lindsay also mentioned that she now spends her time between London and Dubai.
When asked whether she misses the spotlight of Hollywood, Lindsay said that she enjoys what she is doing now, which is spending time with people who are important to her.
“I miss it but at the same time, I’m creating a bunch of different things on my own so I want to focus on what I’m doing…I think there’s a lot of noise that we deal with…So I’ve found a kind of peace…in life with working with children, helping other people that really interest me and I think it’s important for us to recognize that all of this stuff is really fun and really pretty and really glamorous and beautiful, but you have to take time for you,” she said.
