Liam Payne Talks Life As A New Dad

Former One Direction member, Liam Payne, has opened up about what it feels like to be a father to his baby boy, Bear.

The 23-year-old popstar welcomed his first child with girlfriend, Cheryl Cole, two months ago.

Initially, the relationship between Liam and Cheryl sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry as Cheryl is 10 years older than her lover. What was even more bizarre, was the fact that Cheryl was a judge on ‘X-Factor’ when Liam first auditioned at the age of 15.

While promoting his first solo single, ‘Strip That Down’, Liam made mention of how parenting has changed his life.

“When [Bear] was first born, I had never even changed a nappy…It’s not something I would partake as a hobby [sic]. I don’t know if I’m speaking on behalf of other dads but you work on your feet because you have to, it’s your responsibility,” Liam said on ‘The Kyle and Jackie O Show’.

Nappy duty aside, Liam did say that he fell in love the moment he first looked into his little boy’s eyes.

As for Cheryl, the singer has also gushed over her first-born, posting on social media that she is “madly in love” and “overwhelmingly happy”.
