Liam Payne Is Not A Fan of Harry Styles’ New Music

It seems that there are some feelings of animosity between former One Direction bandmates, Liam Payne and Harry Styles.

Since the band split up at the end of last year, all five members have been working on their solo careers and releasing new music every so often.

The latest member to release his debut single and album, is Harry Styles – undeniably the most popular member of 1D.

Harry released his new album, simply titled ‘Harry Styles’ at the start of the month and his first single off the album, ‘Sign of the Times’, has been playing on every radio station.

While Harry has received positive feedback on his single, his former bandmate, Liam, is not as impressed with his music.

Speaking to a radio station recently, Liam had some choice words for Harry’s new music. He said that while he likes other bandmate Niall Horan’s new single, he is not particularly fond of Harry’s song.

“I’ll be honest with you, it’s not my sort of music…It’s not something I’d listen to, but I think he did a great job of doing what he wanted to do. That’s the way I’d put it best, I think,” he said.

Ouch.

He continued, saying that his kind of music is more hip-hop – something very different from Harry’s music.

“I think that the funny thing is, [Harry] would say the same thing about me because he doesn’t really listen to hip-hop music, whereas it’s like my song’s more ‘Rack City’ and his song is more of a different era to something I’d listen to, I guess,” he said.

Well, you can’t win them all.
