Liam Payne Hints at One Direction Reunion
British singer, Liam Payne, is strongly hinting at a One Direction reunion over the December holidays.
The 25-year-old rose to fame with the popular boy band, which comprised of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. After Malik quit the group in 2015, One Direction continued as a four-piece before going on indefinite hiatus in January 2016.
However, in a recent interview, Payne suggested that a One Direction reunion is highly possible.
He explained: “I hope to see them over Christmas, but we are so busy and tired … I think this is the first time we’ve all been in London at the same time so it’s the closest we’ve been as a band for a while, so why not?”
Even if this reunion were to occur, it is unlikely that Malik will be part of it. He recently released a new song called “Good Years”, which Tomlinson slammed him for blaming the band for being unhappy during the years Malik was in it.
