Kwaito muso Senyaka has died
80s and 90s kwaito hitmaker Senyaka Kekana has passed on according to a number of reports from local publications.
Minister of Sport and Recreation, Fikile Mbalula took to his Twitter confirming the news of Kekana’s death. He tweeted: "Just got the news from @djmahoota that the legendary Senyaka moruti wa tsotsi is no more what a loss, great entertainer."
The Chisa Mpama and Fong Kong singer was popular in the late eighties and throughout the nineties. providing local listeners with a number of hits.
Kekana was known for his controversial personality and his feud with Brenda Fassie.
His hits Chisa Mpama, Romeo Wa nkolota and Fong Kong were the party starters of the time.
The cause of death is still unknown.
