Kevin Hart Opens Up About Car Accident
Kevin Hart has finally spoken out for the first time about his car accident two months ago, and his recovery since then.
The 40-year-old comedian says his “world was changed forever” after that fateful night when the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda he was a passenger in rolled down a Malibu embankment on 1 September.
On Tuesday, 29 October, the “Jumanji: The Next Level” star posted a video on Instagram.
In the video, images of the damaged vehicle as well as Hart undergoing physical therapy are shown as he comments: “I honestly feel like God basically told me to sit down. When you’re moving too fast and you’re doing too much, sometimes you can’t see the things you’re meant to see.”
The video also shows Hart with friends and family, and his voice over saying: “Don’t take today for granted, because tomorrow’s not promised. I’m thankful for simply still being here.”
Doctors have explained that his recovery period is likely to take at least a year.
