Kendrick Lamar and Fiancee Become Parents
Rap superstar, Kendrick Lamar, became a father after his fiancee gave birth to a baby girl.
The 32-year-old record producer and his high school sweetheart, Whitney Alford, welcomed their first child last Friday, 26 July.
The name and date of birth of their baby is unknown, but considering how tight-lipped the “Poetic Justice” rapper is, it will only be made known – if ever – in the distant future.
Little is known about the couple’s private life, but it has been previously confirmed that they have been together for over a decade and regularly attend events arm-in-arm.
Lamar previously referred to Alford as his “best friend” in an April 2015 interview; he also admitted in the same interview that they were engaged.
He said: “I wouldn’t even call [Alford] my girl. That’s my best friend. I don’t even like the term that society has put in the world as far as being a companion – she’s somebody I can tell my fears to.”
Neither Lamar nor Alford have made any mention of when they plan to wed as of yet.
