Kelly Clarkson Has No Time for Haters
Kelly Clarkson has made it clear that she does not have time for people hating on her or her body shape!
The American Idol winner, who shot to fame after being the first ever winner of the singing competition in 2002, recently called out a Twitter user who had the audacity to comment on her body.
Kelly posted a really sweet and patriotic message to her followers yesterday, celebrating America’s Independence Day. However, some Twitter troll decided it was the perfect time to let the superstar know what he thinks of her shape.
“Thank u 2 every person in service 4 protecting all of us and cheers to every person who fought for us to experience freedom & independence [sic],” Kelly tweeted.
She then received this reply from a random user:
“You’re fat,” user @Euger23 replied.
Well, Kelly certainly did not take that lying down, as she then replied to the user’s comment, saying that she was still awesome.
You go, girl!
Kelly, who will be a judge on the upcoming season of The Voice, has previously spoken out about being bullied for her weight.
Speaking on the ‘Ellen Degeneres Show’ last year, Kelly spoke about being body shamed online.
“It’s like, you just are who you are. We are who we are—whatever size…It doesn’t mean that we’re gonna be that forever,” she said.
