Katy Perry’s Twitter Account Gets Hacked

Uh oh – it seems that one of Hollywood’s biggest stars just learnt the hard way that the internet isn’t always your friend.

Katy Perry’s Twitter account seems to have been hacked on Monday night.

The star, who has 89 million followers, tweeted some things that were very un-Katy like, including some racial slurs and other profanities.

One of the tweets was also directed at Taylor Swift, with the tweet reading:

“I miss u baby @taylorswift”

Now if you haven’t forgotten, you will know that Katy Perry and Taylor Swift has been embroiled in somewhat of a silent feud for more than a year now.

It all started when Taylor insinuated that Katy stole her back-up dancers from her, right before she was about to go on tour.

They have never officially called one another out, but there has been back forth, passive aggressive bickering going on between the two.

One time, Katy also tweeted that people need to be aware of the Regina George in sheep’s clothing – referencing the mean, Queen Bee from the movie ‘Mean Girls.’

The hackers seemed proud of their hack, though, as they also included the hashtag #HackersGonnaHack.

Well, we guess it happens to the best of them.
