Katy Perry Announces Pregnancy in Music Video
Most celebs like sharing pregnancy news either by announcing it outright or allowing the paparazzi to snap telling photos, but Katy Perry did it in a unique way: by music video!
The “Dark Horse” songstress dropped her new music video, “Never Worn White”, on Wednesday night, 4 March, showcasing a ballad centered around weddings – and revealing a very visible baby bump. Needless to say, her fans went crazy.
Shortly afterward, the 35-year-old singer confirmed on Twitter and Instagram what fans saw.
In a brief Instagram Live session, she said: “There’s a lot that will be happening this summer. Not only will I be giving birth, literally, but also figuratively to something you guys have been waiting for. So let’s call it a double whammy.”
To nit-pick, Perry has yet to wear white. She and fiance, actor Orlando Bloom, have been engaged since Valentine’s Day last year.
Who knows? Maybe we can expect a music video in which the couple are actually wed!
