Justin Bieber Sued for Striking Photographer with Truck

April 16, 2019

Justin Bieber has been accused of permanently injuring a photographer whom he struck with his truck in 2017.

According to the recently filed lawsuit, William Wilson was struck by Bieber’s Dodge Ram 2500 pick-up truck as the “Baby” hitmaker left a Hillsong Church service at the Saban Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

The singer then exited the vehicle and checked to see if the photographer needed any help. He remained at Wilson’s side until an ambulance transported the injured man to the hospital.

Bieber cooperated with the police, who deemed the incident as an accident. They noted that the singer had been distracted by the flashing cameras belonging to paparazzi present at the scene.

Taking legal action against Bieber nearly two years later, Wilson is seeking unspecified damages. He accuses the 25-year-old star of demonstrating negligence, and of causing him permanent disability and emotional damages.

Bieber has yet to publicly comment on the lawsuit.
