Joshua Zirkzee Gives Nod for Serie A Transfer
Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee has given the go-ahead for a move to Juventus after a difficult two-year spell at Old Trafford.
The 25-year-old Netherlands international arrived from Bologna in the summer of 2024 for £36.5 million but has struggled to find his footing in the English Premier League, managing just five top-flight goals in 56 appearances. Zirkzee started only one match under manager Michael Carrick last season, and is eager to revive his career with a return to Serie A.
Driven by Juventus’ new head of football, Ricky Massara, the Bianconeri have received an “initial yes” from the striker’s representatives. The Turin giants are seeking an attacking overhaul and hope to pair Zirkzee alongside Paris Saint-Germain’s Randal Kolo Muani.
United are reportedly open to a sale to raise transfer funds for additional midfield targets. The Red Devils value the Dutchman between €35 million and €40 million and are open to a permanent deal or a loan featuring a conditional obligation to buy.
Zirkzee is apparently excited at the upcoming news, which is bound to be revealed before the end of next week.
