Jonas Brothers “Spent a Year Doing Therapy” Before Reunion

March 07, 2019

Nick Jonas revealed that he and his brothers, Kevin and Joe, spent a year in therapy before they announced their long-awaited Jonas Brothers reunion.

The Jonas Brothers found fame in the late 2000s after appearing in a slew of Disney Channel originals such as “Camp Rock” and “Hannah Montana”.

However, a “deep, creative rift” among the siblings led to their disbandment in 2013. Both Nick and Joe pursued solo careers, while Kevin entered real estate development.

In a recent interview on “The Late Late Show with James Corden”, Nick – appearing alongside his brothers – opened up about getting on the same page before their reunion became official.

He explained: “We literally spent a year basically doing therapy, working through some things, and figuring out what this chapter would look like. We’ve had to be really open and honest. There are things in the past that bothered us from time to time.”

Joe added: “We said, ‘We’re done, let’s just try to rebuild our friendship and our relationship as brothers’ – it just happened in its own time.”
