Johnny Depp And Amber Heard File For Divorce

May 27, 2016

Oh no! It seems that yet another Hollywood couple has failed to keep their relationship afloat.

Our favourite indie actor, Johnny Depp, and his wife, Amber Heard, are divorcing after just over a year of marriage.

According to reports, Amber was the one to file for divorce on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences.

Apparently, Johnny and Amber – who were married for only 15 months – got married without a prenup, and now Amber is asking for spousal support from her soon-to-be ex.

Johnny and Amber’s relationship has been controversial since the two got together.

Not only is there a 22-year age gap between 53-year old Johnny and 30-year old Amber, but it is also widely believed that Johnny had an affair with Amber while the two of them were filming ‘The Rum Diary’, which then lead to the deterioration of his relationship with Vanessa Paradis.

According to court papers obtained by US gossip website, TMZ, Johnny is opposing the spousal support and has asked the judge to not grant spousal support in their divorce case.

Johnny’s latest film, ‘Alice Through The Looking Glass’, which is a sequel to ‘Alice In Wonderland’, is set to open in theatres tomorrow.
