Jeremy Renner Allegedly Threatened to Kill Ex-Wife

The custody battle between actor Jeremy Renner and actress Sonni Pacheco has taken a dark turn, after Pacheco accused her ex-husband of threatening to kill her.

The former couple – who wed in 2014 but divorced a year later – are currently fighting for custody of their six-year-old daughter, Ava.

According to court documents, Pacheco alleges that their daughter’s nanny overheard Renner saying that he was going to visit the 28-year-old actress’ house to kill her and himself, because “it was better that Ava had no parents than to have [Pacheco] as a mother.”

She also claims that the 48-year-old “Avengers: Endgame” star placed a gun in his mouth and threatened to kill himself. He allegedly fired the gun into the ceiling while their daughter was asleep in her bedroom.

However, Renner has accused his ex-wife of fabricating the allegations in order to gain more money out of him.

A representative for Renner also commented: “This is a matter for the court to decide. It’s important to note the dramatisations made in [Pacheco’s] declaration are a one-sided account made with a specific goal in mind.”
