Jack Dorsey Remains Twitter CEO

Twitter has a new CEO, that was also their interim CEO, that is also the social networking company’s co-founder.

While it all may sound confusing, Twitter just officially announced their new CEO, a move that many saw coming anyway. Jack Dorsey, who was the co-founder of the social network back in 2006 and current interim CEO, has now been officially instated as the multi-billion dollar company’s chief executive.

The move comes three months after Dick Costalo, the other co-founder, stepped down as CEO of the company.

Dorsey is also currently the CEO of Square, and will continue to be both the CEO of Twitter and Square.

Twitter is currently one of the biggest social networks in the world with an active user base of an estimated 300 million users daily.
