Is ‘Downton Abbey’ coming to an end?

Downton Abbey will reportedly be coming to an end after its sixth season.

TV Line reported that multiple sources have informed them of the hit TV show’s exit with the reason being that most of the cast’s contracts expire after the season 6 and most of them are not keen on a renewal because as the sources put it, "the actors are ready to move on".

TV Line reported that a spokesperson for the show’s US distributor NBC Universal failed to comment on the matter, so it’s not yet officially confirmed if the show has indeed been cancelled.

Guess we’ll have to wait and see if the reports are true, but in the meantime, be sure to catch the show’s sixth season later this year.
