Is Bonang dating D’banj?
Social media has been abuzz for the past few days after choreographer Somizi Mhlongo posted a picture of TV personality Bonang Matheba cosying up to Nigerian musician D’Banj.
Matheba and D’banj were at the back of a luxurious black Bentley on New Years Eve and the picture shows Bonang wearing Christian Louboutin and pearls locking eyes with The Nigerian hunk.
Mhlongo deleted the picture amid speculation but it was too late. Fans on social media had already reposted the images and discussing them.
One Twitter user, @Yaya_wxlf, wrote: "But Bonang and Dbanj actually look good together."
Wrote @Semaki: "I had to buy data, reset my password and log in on insta. Yup, Bonang is dating D’Banj. She looks so happy."
The star was rumoured to be back with her estranged ex DJ Euphonik and considering getting married despite having filed charges of physical assault against him three years ago.
The star toasted to a new year in Lagos with friends Mhlongo and make-up artist Nthato Mashishi. They’ve been there since December 30 as guests in D’Banj’s house.
Matheba didn’t seem bothered as she also posted the black and white photo of herself with D’banj.
Matheba’s publicity manager, Zoe Msutwana told Timeslive: "Bonang is single; she and D’Banj are just close friends."
