Irina Shayk Comments on Bradley Cooper Split

Nearly six months after they went their separate ways, Irina Shayk has broken her silence over her past relationship with Hollywood actor, Bradley Cooper.

Shayk and Cooper started dating in 2015, after they were seen together for a peaceful Labour Day Weekend in New Jersey. Two years later, the 34-year-old Russian model gave birth to their daughter, Lea De Seine.

Despite their split in June last year – which occurred four months after Cooper’s infamously steamy duet with Lady Gaga at the Oscars – Shayk is apparently far from feeling bitter.

In an interview with a fashion magazine, she explained: “I think in all good relationships, you bring your best and your worst – it’s just the nature of a human being. Two great people don’t have to make a good couple.”

On that note, she reflectively added: “I think we’ve been very lucky to experience what we had with each other. Life without [Cooper] is new ground.”
