Inside Madonna’s Gypsy-Themed Birthday Bash

Madonna celebrated her 59th birthday yesterday, and the material girl decided to celebrate the last of her fifties with a big, gypsy-themed bash.

Never one to shy away from being over the top, Madonna gathered her friends and family in Puglia, Italy. She threw a lush outdoor party on Tuesday, to which she arrived on a white horse. The festivities continued throughout the week, culminating in her big bash Thursday evening.

The Queen of Pop shared several pictures of the night on her Instagram account.

The photos show Madonna looking glam in a gypsy-inspired outfit, consisting of a green silk skirt, fishnets and a very sultry corset top. Naturally, she donned a lot of jewelry, which included a diamond in between her two front teeth.

“Giving Thanks for another Year filled with many Surprises and many Blessings! [sic]” she captioned one of her photos.

Madonna’s 4-year-old twins, Stella and Esther, also attended the party and Madge shared an adorable photo of the little girls in their matching gypsy outfits.

Sources in the know have said that Madonna herself was the entertainment for the evening, performing some of her most famous hits. They said there was a lot dancing and singing involved!

However, it seems that the party was a bit too much for Madge, as she confessed on Instagram that she may have indulged a little too much the night before.

“I stand before this altar. with a small confession! …………. i have a tiny hangover [sic],” she captioned one of her photos.

Happy birthday, Madonna! We can’t wait to see what your 60th will look like.
