Iggy Azalea to Collaborate With Rival Azealia Banks?

July 04, 2017

Well this is something we would not have expected in a million years!

Australian rapper, Iggy Azalea, seems to have extended an olive branch to one-time arch enemy, fellow rapper Azealia Banks, after years of feuding.

Iggy announced on her Snapchat account on Monday that she will be collaborating with Banks on her new album, ‘Digital Distortion’.

“Public service announcement. Azealia is going to be on DD. We are collaborating. Burn your wigs now or preserve them in your freezer for release day,” she captioned a picture on her Snapchat account.

Naturally, Iggy’s announcement sent the internet into a flat spin, with several fans calling her out for collaborating with someone who had previously said that she wanted to “kill this B”.

However, it doesn’t seem as though Iggy minds the negative feedback from her fans, as she went on to Twitter to explain why she has decided to try and bury the hatchet and work with Banks.

“If you cant understand my desire to turn YEARS worth of negativity into a positive interaction then that’s your loss my dear. Peace! [sic]” she wrote to one follower.

In another tweet, Iggy said that she knows her fans will find it difficult to understand why she is doing what she is doing.

“I don’t expect you guys to understand why i would collaborate with someone who has publicly said they hope I die…This has been something extremely negative for so long, if there is a way to make it positive and also be creative together, I’m here for it,” she wrote.

Well, we guess we’ll have to wait and see if Azalea and Azealia will be able to work together in perfect harmony.
