Iggy Azalea Speaks Out after Nude Photo Leak

May 28, 2019

Iggy Azalea says she feels “violated” after nude photos of the rapper were leaked online.

Topless images of the “Sally Walker” hitmaker – which were reportedly outtakes from a 2016 photoshoot for the magazine, GQ Australia – began circulating on social media sites yesterday, Monday 27 May.

Nino Munoz, who had photographed Azalea for the shoot, said the photos had been stolen from him and were published without his permission.

In a statement posted to her now-deactivated Instagram account, Azalea broke her silence regarding the leak.

She wrote: “I felt comfortable (on a closed set) to model for such a reputable magazine, knowing only the images with my hands covering would be considered for print. I never consented to taking topless pictures for potential release, period.”

The rapper added: “I feel blindsided, embarrassed, violated, angry, sad, and a million other things. Not solely because I did not consent to this, but also because of the vile way people have reacted [to the images].”

Azalea wrote that she intends to find and press charges against the individual who leaked the photos.
