Iggy Azalea Confirms Split from Playboi Carti

Australian rapper, Iggy Azalea, has confirmed that she and boyfriend, Playboi Carti, are no longer an item.

The 30-year-old “Fancy” hitmaker began dating the 24-year-old American rapper in September 2018, and they moved in together three months later.

Together, they share an infant son named Onyx, whose birth was confirmed back in June this year.

Taking to Instagram Stories last Friday, 23 October, Azalea aroused fans’ suspicions when she wrote: “You lost a real 1 [sic]. People take loyalty for granted & [sic] that’s why I’d rather be alone.”

The next day, she clarified her statement, writing: “What I meant last night was that I’m raising my son alone & [sic] I’m not in a relationship.”

Despite the break-up, Azalea is focused on raising their son, whom she showed off in adorable photos posted to her Instagram account on Sunday morning, 25 October. She is also working on her upcoming third album, “End of an Era”, which is scheduled for release later this year.
