‘I Am Legend’ to be rebooted
Warner Bros is reportedly rebooting their 2007 adaptation of I am Legend.
The film, which starred Will Smith, never got a sequel or a prequel, despite repeated attempts, but Deadline reports that the studio has now decided to start from scratch.
According to the report, Gary Graham’s original screenplay, A Garden at the End of the World, is seen as having similarities to the 2007 film and the studio now wants it rewritten as reboot of the franchise.
Producers Akiva Goldsman, James Lassiter, and Joby Harold are apparently set to return for the reboot.
