Horror movie shuffle

Paramount has shuffled two of their upcoming horror movies to new release dates while adding a new one to the calendar according to Variety.

First up is Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension – the sixth instalment of the franchise overall will now release on October 23, 2015 just in time for Halloween. The film was originally slated to open on March 13, 2015 but releasing it during the Halloween period would give it a better advantage.

Fans of Jason Voorhees will have to wait a little bit longer as Paramount has pushed Friday the 13th from its November 13, 2015 to May 13, 2016.

In its place, Paramount has added Rings – a reboot to the 2002 horror film, The Ring.
