Harry Styles Loses His Stepfather

Harry Styles’ stepfather, Robin Twist, has passed away at the age of 57, after losing his battle with cancer.

Robin married Harry’s mother, Anne, in 2013 and had a very close relationship with Harry and his sister, Gemma. Harry was even Robin’s best man at their wedding.

Harry has not commented publicly on the passing of his stepfather, but a spokesperson for the family released a statement to the media.

“Harry’s stepfather, Robin Twist, sadly passed away this week after a long battle with cancer. The family asks for privacy at this time,” a part of the statement read.

Following the news of Robin’s passing, thousands of friends and fans have sent their condolences to Harry via social media.

Harry’s former One Direction bandmates sent heartfelt messages to their friend on various social media platforms.

Liam Payne posted a picture of Harry and his stepfather on his Instagram account on Thursday, accompanied by a sweet message.

“Harry my heart really goes out to you such an extremely sad day for us all who knew Robin…What a kind, gentle and beautiful soul, a true rarity to find in today’s world. Sometimes they really do take the best of us far too soon. X,” he wrote.

Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson also sent messages to Harry on social media, both of them commenting on what a great guy Robin was.
