Harry Kane Transfer Could See Erling Haaland Pair-Up
Harry Kane has been urged to consider joining Erling Haaland at Manchester City next season amid continued speculation over the Bayern Munich striker’s future.
The 32-year-old forward, whose contract in Germany runs until 2027, has been linked with a move to Barcelona. Still, fans believe the England captain could thrive alongside – or in rotation with – Haaland at Etihad Stadium in Manchester, England, as the two strikers share complementary abilities.
Both forwards have started the 2025-26 season in exceptional form. Kane has scored 24 goals in 18 games, helping Bayern break the record for consecutive wins at the start of a Bundesliga campaign.
Haaland, meanwhile, has already surpassed 30 goals for club and country – 19 of them for City – showcasing his importance after missing the English side’s recent Champions League defeat to Bayer Leverkusen.
Despite rumours of a €65-million release clause and Barcelona’s interest in making him Robert Lewandowski’s successor, Kane has repeatedly insisted he is happy in Munich. He says “nobody has contacted” him, and he remains focused on Bayern’s season and the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
Bayern are reportedly preparing to offer him a new long-term deal as he continues his prolific scoring run, totalling 109 goals in 114 games for the Bavarians.
