Harry Kane Is Not Leaving Tottenham

January 25, 2017

Rumours have been doing the rounds that Tottenham’s superstar striker, Harry Kane, may transfer from the English Premier League club to other, high-profile clubs.

However, Kane has set the record straight, saying that he has absolutely no plans of leaving the club.

“It would be stupid to leave now. We’ve got one of the best coaches in the world, maybe the best. We’ll have a new stadium soon. The future is bright [sic],” he recently told reporters.

There have also been rumours that Kane’s fellow teammate, Dele Alli, may be eyeing a transfer to other European clubs. However, Kane said that neither he nor Alli have any plans of leaving Tottenham anytime soon.

“I’d be surprised if any of my team-mates would go now…Something is happening here and we just need to take that last step, which is to win trophies,” he said.

He continued, saying that he believes Tottenham is the right place for 20-year-old Alli, who joined the club in 2015.

“Tottenham is the right place for him, even if many other clubs want him…We’ve got a great future and he is part of it, so there is no reason for him to leave,” Kane said of Alli.

Tottenham is having a stellar season thus far. They are currently third on the log, only one point behind Arsenal and nine points behind leaders, Chelsea.

Tottenham’s next match is on Tuesday, January 31st, against Sunderland.
