Happy Father’s Day, O.J.!
O.J. Simpson has denied rumours that he previously had a relationship with Kris Jenner, and that he might be reality star Khloe Kardashian’s father, in a tweet that was posted on Father’s Day.
The former NFL player surprised internet users last week Friday, 14 June, when he created a Twitter account. Within hours, the account had accumulated over half a million followers.
Two days later, Simpson tweeted a video to “straighten things out.” In the two-minute-long video, he said that he had never been romantically involved with Jenner.
He went on to call the gossip “bogus” and “tasteless”, whilst also denying claims that he is the father of Kardashian.
Many have observed that the account was created two days after the 25th anniversary of the murders of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. He was acquitted of the crime in 1995.
The 71-year-old also previously sued in civil court for wrongful death by both Brown and Goldman’s families, winning a $33.5 million judgement.
